Al is a Senior Vice President with Raymond James at the firm’s branch in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. He holds the Wealth Management SpecialistTM designation along with Series 2, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. Also included in his professional credentials are insurance licenses for use in retirement, estate and business planning.
Along with his daughter, Vice President Erin Weber, they founded the Weber Group of Raymond James, using the “team within a team” approach. Also included in the team are Financial Advisor, Jason Pettner and Senior Client Service Associate, Katie Burr. Combining the vast resources of Raymond James with 60-plus years of combined experience in the financial services industry, the team helps investors navigate a myriad of available investment options with a high level of service and a personal commitment. Financial planning is at the core of their approach to investing.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Al worked at CooksonPeirce and Hefren-Tillotson. He also had over 20 years of experience in technical sales and marketing before becoming a financial advisor. Al started his industrial career as a marketing representative with Westinghouse and continued as an account manager with ASEA Brown Boveri and later Alstom.
He is a graduate of Gannon University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. Al is a past president of the advisory board and has guest lectured for Penn State University, New Kensington. He has authored two books, “The Ten Commandments of Investing” and “Things I Think, I Think…” Al served as chairman of the City of Lower Burrell Civil Service Commission, was a longtime Rotarian and is a Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow.
As a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, he resides in Lower Burrell with his wife, Kim. They have three children, Ryan, Justin and Erin, who are all graduates of Penn State University. In his spare time, Al enjoys golfing, clay shooting and helping Kim with her garden projects.
